Learn

There are amazing people out there doing astounding work in the photography world. I have learned and continue to learn substantially from these amazing people for free, so to show my gratitude I wanted to acknowledge them here on my website.

Luminar Neo: I was a long-time Photoshop user for editing photos but when Adobe changed their pricing policy to Saas, I started looking for its alternative. While Googling I stumbled on this great, amazing, and extremely easy-to-use software. I am also a Referral Partner of Luminar Neo, so if you click their logo on the left you can get a $10 discount on the purchase price. Please enter LUMINAR-FRIEND at check-out.

Digital Photography School: This is the first website I came across when I was looking to learn about digital photography. Even after it’s been 14 years since I moved from film to digital photography, I continue to visit this website often.

Photographic Society of New Zealand: With the innovation of digital photography and the ever-changing world of technology, I personally believe it is very important to be connected with like-minded people. The optimum place to connect with like-minded people is through photography clubs or society.

Photzy: Another great resource on digital photography, some great tips, snap cards, project sheets, and plenty of e-books covering almost every aspect of photography.

The Digital Picture: A great website for a comprehensive review of photography gear. Whenever I wish to upgrade my camera or buy a new lens I never forget to check Bryan’s opinion before making any final decision.

Digital Photography Review: I am unaware of any other website that currently exists that contains such a vast amount of reviews about photography gear. Another reason I admire this website is because it incorporates reviews by actual product users with sample pictures and real-life examples.
