I am a self-taught photography enthusiast and remain highly passionate about capturing the beautiful scenery around us all, which consequently, allows me to re-live those moments over and over again.
My passion for photography dates back to when I was 12 years old. I used to shoot with my cousin’s Konica Minolta film camera. It was tough to pursue photography as a hobby back in those days as I use to get a minuscule amount of pocket money. After migrating to New Zealand, I purchased my first digital camera Sony DSC-H5, but within a few months I realised that I required an upgrade if I wanted to frame the authentic scenery, so I bought my first Canon DSLR.
I consider myself a modern photographer and recognise the importance of post-production, which is why I use various tools to ensure my images portray the moment and image I caught sight of at the time of taking the photo. So, you could say I don’t take photos, but rather, make photos. I learned a lot from seeing the work of various great landscape photographers from around the world.
I hope you will enjoy watching my photos as much as I enjoyed making them.
